Edward Abbiati & The Rattling Chains: A night of classic rock / Americana (“somewhere between Bruce Springsteen, the Waterboys and The Replacements” – Rootshighway) in Milan’s oldest and best rock pub/club: The Nidaba Theatre nestled in the heart of the Navigli District. Edward Abbiati, Hampshire born, London Bred and currently residing in Italy is the former leader of Lowlands (“One of the best roots rock bands in Europe,” according to the British magazine Rock’n’Reel). With Lowlands, he toured throughout Europe, from Stockholm to London and from Galway to Rome, recording about ten albums. As a solo artist, his music takes on more indie flavors with “Me & The Devil,” featuring Chris Cacavas (Green on Red, Dream Syndicate), garage rock with ACC with Stiv Cantarelli, and his latest two works: “Beat the Night” (more acoustic) and “To the Light” (more electric), released by Appaloosa Records (distributed by IRD). Ranked among the best albums of 2023 according to Americana Highways (UK) and Rootshighway (ITA). A mix of indie rock, folk, and punk that featured on the Euro Americana Chart in 2023. Free Entry (but you must reserve your place beforehand) a single set kicking off at 9 PM. Come for the show and the best Guinness in town!
