IL PROGETTO
Amanda e La Banda si propone di portare in scena la storia del Blues al femminile, dalle origini alle eredità, raccontata attraverso riletture di brani storicamente interpretati dalle grandi Signore del Blues, Jazz e Soul. Dalle antiche worksongs, gospel e spirituals, al Classic Blues anni ’20; dalle dive degli anni ’40 e ’50 alle soul woman degli anni ’60. Inoltre lo show include i brani di propria composizione contenuti nel disco: “THE FIRST AND THE LAST” 2011, Odd Time Records, Egea Distribution.

THE BAND
Band from Milan, Italy, who performed for years in the main Italian Blues Festivals and has enjoyed considerable success also abroad, with a performance driving, designed to entertain and at the same time to make reflect, dance and get excited.
Since 2002, founder, lead vocal and soul of the group is Amanda Tosoni, from 2007 assisted by Andrea Caggiari as bassist and arranger.
